چکیده

Abstract. Due to its unique properties as compared ordinary concrete, lightweight concrete play a major role in construction sector. Here, this research explain the development of self-compact by replacing coarse aggregate together pumice stone, which is used material various proportions. An investigation on effect partially replaced with stone carried out. The fresh and hard property self-compacting have been studied results normal concrete. Pumice due special such unit weight, heat insulation property, resistance against fire when we combined coating substance has improved. Several concretes flow diameter, diameter after an hour, V-funnel L-box tests, 28 days split- tensile strength, dry test, water absorption 7- 28-day compressive ultrasonic pulse velocity test was investigated. According study, include segregation resistance, filling capability natural aggregate, at levels 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% volume fly ash blast furnace slag minerals constant rate 40%. weights, thermal conductivity addition ultra-sonic were obtained. compression, flexural, split strengths cubes, cylinders, along prisms are tested for 7, 14, days. Results shows that met requirements structural applications.

Durability of Self-compacting Lightweight Aggregate Concretes (LWSCC) as Repair Overlays

For rehabilitation of damaged concrete structures, the durability of repair overlay is a very important issue. Self-compacting concretes (SCC) are known as a suitable repair overlay materials. In this study, the durability of different self-compacting lightweight aggregate concretes (LWSCC) and effect of lightweight aggregate type on them is investigated. 3 mix designs of LWSCC containing three...

Prediction of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Compressive Strength

Nowadays, the better performance of lightweight structures during earthquake has resulted in using lightweight concrete more than ever. However, determining the compressive strength of concrete used in these structures during their service through a none-destructive test is a popular and useful method.  One of the main methods of non-destructive testing in the assessment of compressive strength...

Experimental Study of the Combined Use of Fiber and Nano Silica Particles on the Properties of Lightweight Self Compacting Concrete

In fiber concretes, microcracks in the boundary area between the cement paste and the surface of aggregates or fibers are higher. Natural and artificial pozzolans can be used for reinforcing this area. In this research, the combination of glass fiber, zeolite, and nano silica particles were used in lightweight self-compacting concrete containing scoria. Fiber volume fractions between 0% to 1.5%...

Experimental Study on Thermal Conductivity of Self-Compacting Concrete with Recycled Aggregate

The research focuses on the use of recycled aggregate (RA), from waste pieces generated during production in precast plants for self-compacting concrete (SCC) manufactured with a double sustainable goal: recycle manufacturing waste (consumption) and improvement of the thermal properties of the manufactured product (energy efficiency). For this purpose, a mechanical study to ensure technical fea...
